His expertise spans urban and regional planning, sustainable development, and policy formulation. A Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Ulster University, Prof. Kashyap has also completed executive education at Harvard University. Veeraragavan is a distinguished highway engineering expert with over 45 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy. A former Professor at IIT Madras, he has authored more than 250 research papers and several standard textbooks in highway engineering. He has received multiple awards from the Indian Roads Congress and ISTE for his contributions to pavement design, materials, and asset management. Dr. Veeraragavan serves as Technical Advisor to RASTA and is actively involved in various national technical committees on highways and infrastructure. |
